Mike Kelly
Attorney
A fish out of water. That’s Mike Kelly in his spacious office facing the Grand Rapids cityscape. If you had the right kind of power, you’d switch the scene for him. Put him in his canoe, far from the city.
The man quotes Twain. He comes from up north, and when he gets the chance, travels even farther in that direction, to places that are hard for humans to reach and "where the fish are healthy."
But inevitably, he returns to civilization and high rises, driven by his curious mind, his impeccable work ethic, and a strong sense of duty to his clients, his family and his colleagues.
He is exactly what he appears to be a complex man with simple needs and a strong grasp on the law, who worked hard as an engineer for the first half of his career, and works harder to protect and serve engineers and their companies now. Mike's easy, informal dignity, and his results, help to define the McGarry Bair culture, where putting clients at ease, developing strong and trusting relationships, and caring for companies and their people over the long haul are top firm priorities.
