Becca Shilt

Administrative Assistant

There's an amazing sense of calm and tranquility that seems to surround Becca Shilt. You could easily guess that she lives a peaceful life of yoga and meditation, spending her free time without a care in the world. But her reality is just the opposite. She is busy earning her degree and helping to save the world by building gardens.

In her work as Head Garden Designer for Rain Gardens of West Michigan, she can save a few square feet of land at a time, peacefully creating a good environment for people while protecting our natural resources. Her projects are featured in magazines, lectures, schools and, of course, in area gardens, both public and private. She's got a unique gift for knowing how and where plants will thrive.

And so it is with her work at McGarry Bair. As an administrative assistant, it's Becca's job to know where the pieces fit and to help address opportunities in ways that will benefit all involved. She manages projects with the same sense of tranquility that she gets from her gardening. You'll be glad that she's growing here with us.
