We provide this site for information: to tell you who we are and what we do. Nothing in this site should be relied on as legal advice. Every situation is different, so facts are important. What We Own.

This is our site, so we own everything in it. Here are some examples of what we own and will enforce:

(1) Copyrights. All content, including but not limited to text, graphcis, logos, icons, images, downloads, data compilations, designs, pictures, and the like is our property. In fact, this McGarry Bair property is protected by the United States and international copyright laws. We will enforce our copyright rights.

(2) Trademarks. We own the MCGARRY BAIR® trademark and service mark, which is the subject of federal registration with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. It is why we can use the R-in-a-circle (®) instead of the unregistered trademark marking ("™" for trademarks, "℠" for service marks). In fact, we own any and all versions of the MCGARRY BAIR mark used on this site. The marks we own are protected by federal and state trademark laws. Just so you know, just because a mark does not appear on this page does not mean that we do not use it or own it. Our marks (or anything confusingly similar to them) cannot be used without express, written persmission. Our trademark cannot be used in connection with any product or service that is not ours, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers or clients, or in any manner that disparages or discredits McGarry Bair. This is true for our trade dress too, which we talk about below.

(3) Trade Dress. Do you like the look and feel of our website? We do too. How we present the "McGarry Bair" package on this site is special to us; in fact, it is our "trade dress," and it is protected by federal and state law. We will enforce our rights in our trade dress too.

As you will see, we have listed some of our clients on this site. Obviously, those trademarks or service marks belong to the specified client; not us. If we link to them, it is because we have their permission to do so.

Client Use of Our Site.

You may have noticed that we have a client access link on our site. This is a portal reserved just for our clients so that they can tap into their information in our files. Clients that use this link should understand that we gather information from that portal for business purposes, like collecting information to continually improve our services. We do not share that information with third parties.
